Hannah Brown

Associate Solicitor

Hannah rejoined Richard Buxton in 2016, having worked as a paralegal prior to commencing her training contract at City law firm.

Since returning, Hannah has assisted across the spectrum of the Firm’s practice environmental and planning law, including cases involving planning & EIA development, statutory and private nuisance and Judicial Review proceedings. Hannah has experience in the Magistrates’ Court, High Court and Court of Appeal as both assistant and leading solicitor.

Prior to returning to environmental law, Hannah trained and worked at a City of London firm specialising in shipping (including a six month secondment to the firm’s Singapore office). Following qualification, she was involved in a broad range of civil and commercial litigation cases including insurance and financial products litigation, super yacht disputes and litigation in relation to the free movement of goods within the European Union.

Hannah read Geography at Churchill College, University of Cambridge and completed her legal studies at the College of Law and BPP University, receiving distinctions in both the GDL and LPC.
